Where Nomad is better
Nomad’s smaller fixed plans cost less. The displayed 10 GB price is promotional; check whether it still applies when buying.
The checked 20 GB plan names Bell and Telus with 5G access and confirms hotspot use and top-ups. That can appeal if you want these networks and need to connect a laptop.
Where HolySim is better
At 50 GB, HolySim is cheaper on the date checked. This is a different product from our smaller plans; its network and activation timing are not specified in the published data.
At 5 to 20 GB, HolySim offers an alternative on Rogers, with email support in Dutch. That may matter if Rogers is the network you need where you will stay.
Which should you choose?
Choose Nomad if…
Choose Nomad for the lower price up to 20 GB or the named Bell/Telus combination at 20 GB. Allow for automatic activation no later than 60 days after purchase.
Choose HolySim if…
Choose HolySim if you want 50 GB at the lower price, after confirming the missing product terms. For a smaller plan, Rogers may be a reason to accept the price difference.
Where these figures come from
We checked the published plans and terms on 16 September 2026. HolySim prices come from our own catalog. Nomad prices come from its official range for Canada. We compare local plans; regional and worldwide alternatives are outside the table’s scope.
The 50 GB plan is a different product from the 5, 10 and 20 GB plans. Its network and activation timing are absent from the published product data; do not apply the Rogers terms to this plan.
