When does the validity period start?

It depends on the bundle. When the moment is known, the checkout shows it before you pay. If the validity starts at purchase, buy the bundle shortly before you leave. If it starts at installation, scan the QR code on your departure day. If it starts at the first connection in a country of the bundle and your home country is not in it, you can install the eSIM at home.
